Youth Ministry

At First Baptist Church of Asheville, we provide our youth with opportunities to experience transformation, to embrace wholeness and to engage the culture with the good news of Jesus Christ through faith and good works.

Weekly Opportunities

  • Bible Study - 9:45-10:45 a.m. - MB423
Join us on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. in the Youth area for fellowship, community building, and a formative Bible study. We will also enjoy breakfast as a group once every month to build fellowship and friendship!
  • Koinonia - 6:30-7:30 p.m. - MB423
    * Snack Supper begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Dining Room *

All youth meet together to study how our Christian faith affects our daily lives. These topical studies come from real life issues and needs. This is an important opportunity for fellowship, refreshments, recreation, and spiritual growth.

“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story…”   (Psalm 107:2)

It is an epic story: how we were created, loved, and redeemed by God. Come walk the red carpet as a child of God and get a look at the tremendous story of which you are a part. Sessions will include “In the Beginning,” “Setting the Scene,” “Climax,” and “Waiting for Resolution.” Come listen, tell your story, and find your place in the greatest screenplay ever written.
