 FBCA Trail Mix to Roan Mountain
Saturday, May 18 • 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Join us for a journey to Roan Mountain and a walk through absolute beauty. We will arrive early in the season for the annual rhododendron blooms. The gardens are at a high elevation, so it may be cool. Groups can take an easy stroll through the rhododendron thickets along paved trails. There are also some gentle hikes on the Appalachian Trail. No registration is required. We leave the front parking lot of First Baptist Asheville at 9:00 a.m. in the church van. We will return by around 4:00 p.m. There is no cost for the hike. Don’t forget to bring lunch for the trail, some extra water, and sunscreen.
Dinner Out with Friends 4th Thursdays!
Come enjoy a dinner out with friends. No reservations required. Just show up at the eateries below at 6:30 p.m. Guests are welcome. Bring a neighbor and introduce that person to the First Baptist fellowship. Google for directions and join the conversation over good food.
