As followers of Christ, we need one another to help us grow in faith. In the context of life-giving community, we share and learn from each person’s unique experiences with and understandings of God, as we explore scripture and our lives. We develop authentic friendships in which people care for one another, rejoicing when one rejoices, and weeping when one weeps. Life-giving community is where the church begins to share its mission of hope, expressing the love and grace of God made known to us in Jesus.
