Join us for Holy Week
Palm Sunday • Sunday, March 29 • 11:00 a.m. • Sanctuary *
At the beginning of Holy Week, we focus on the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem to shouts of “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!” Our children’s choir will sing and process with palms as we turn our attention to Jesus’ journey to the cross.
Maundy Thursday • Thursday, April 2 • 6:00 p.m. • Sanctuary
“Maundy” comes from the Latin word “mandatum” meaning “commandment,” reflecting Jesus’ words, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (John 13:34). Hymns, scriptural meditation, music by the Adult Choir and instrumentalists, and a special observance of the Lord’s Supper inspire worshippers to remember the sacrifice of Christ.
Good Friday Service – Stations of the Cross • Friday, April 3 • Noon • Sacred Garden/Sanctuary
We gather to follow Jesus through the stations of the cross with prayers, scripture readings, and dramatic renderings of his passion.
Easter Sunrise Service • Sunday, April 5 • 7:00 a.m. • Sacred Garden
We gather at dawn for an outdoor worship service to remember and celebrate Christ’s resurrection with scripture, hymns, a brief message, and music as the sun rises.
Easter Worship • Sunday, April 5 • 11:00 a.m. • Sanctuary
We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with a service of word, table, and music offered by the Adult Choir.
