A Sanctuary of Stories

A Sanctuary of Stories is a two-part Chapel Study exploring the history, architecture, and Christian symbolism of our sanctuary as we approach its 100th anniversary. In the first session, church historian Wayne Caldwell and Mark Green will share the story of our sanctuary, designed by renowned Asheville architect Douglas Ellington. In the second session, we’ll discover how the sanctuary’s architecture helped shape Via Karis, our church’s framework for Christian discipleship. Together, these sessions invite us to deepen our appreciation for this beloved space and the ways it tells the story of our faith and calls us to live the way of grace.
