First Kids Preschool

Please note: First Baptist has two separate weekday programs for children. This page is for First Kids Preschool that operates part time, M-Th, 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m., from September – May. If you are looking for full time care – please click here for the First Baptist Child Development Center.

The First Baptist Church First Kids Preschool Program’s first goal is to help children trust that they are loved by Jesus Christ and his followers. It gives children opportunities to develop physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively, and spiritually to their greatest potential, and ministers, where appropriate, to the needs of children’s families.

Our program strives to always provide a warm, loving environment for children to learn age-appropriate skills while sharing basic Christian tenants, building self-confidence, addressing needs, ensuring safety and security, and providing families with assurance that their children are cared for and cherished.

Our program serves children one year (must be one year by August 31) through PreK. We operate Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from September – May.
