The Great 50 Days of Easter
Midweek Prayer (via Zoom)

Wednesdays from 6:00-6:30 p.m.

The season of Easter is often referred to as  The Great Fifty Days. Though we often think of Easter as one day on the calendar, it is impossible to adequately celebrate such an important, transformative event in just one day, so we celebrate Easter as a season.

One way we can continue to stay connected is through a midweek time of prayer via Zoom. We will meet online at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays to participate in a liturgy of prayer and to share requests or encouragements with one another. Click here to download the liturgy for midweek prayers. The information for joining the Zoom call is located in our weekly e-newsletter.

It is our hope that you will use The Great Fifty Days  as a time to renew and deepen your faith as resurrection people, to develop practices of faithfulness through prayer, participation in Bible study and worship, and by giving and serving.
As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, the cornerstone of our faith, may we awaken to see the presence of Christ within us and within one another each moment of each day. May we all become transformed into resurrection people, knowing the risen Christ, letting him reshape our lives and identities, and accepting his call to practices of faithfulness in response to God’s great love for us and for the world.
