Each Sunday morning
We have age-graded communities for children birth-sixth grade and youth in grades 7-12. We also have a variety of Sunday morning Bible study communities for adults, some defined by age or stage of life, while others are intergenerational communities exploring their faith together.
Finding Your Way at FBCA
If you are new to the First Baptist Church of Asheville community, or if you’ve been here for a while and are interested in getting more deeply involved in the mission and ministry of the church, please join the ministers for times of fellowship and conversation about our faith tradition, our worship life, and the many ways to be a part of this community of faith.
We regularly host times for guests and new members to come together and have the opportunity to ask questions about the church, meet the ministerial staff, get to know other people on their journey of faith and church connection, and learn how to get involved in our common life and ministry.

Wayne Jewsbury has been teaching the Stephen Bible study community for more than 50 years. His insight and study has been valuable to so many as they seek formation into the way of Jesus. These recordings are taken from his Sunday morning teaching and discussion. You are always welcome to join his group on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Asheville in room CB221.
