We have a chance to help welcome refugees from Afghanistan as they arrive into Asheville this month. Of the 100 refugees being sponsored by Lutheran Services of the Carolinas, there will be around 30 children and a dozen teens. They will face an immediate need of winter clothing, so we ask everyone to consider bringing in the following items:

winter coats (all sizes; new or gently used)

hats and gloves (all sizes; new)

sweaters (all sizes; new or gently used)

Items can be placed in the collection bin located in the FBCA Atrium.We will be collecting these items through February.
