Plan Your Visit
Visiting any church for the very first time can be a little intimidating…
We want to put you at ease.
Whether you’ve grown up in church, never been to church, or are coming back to church we want you to feel welcomed and accepted.
What is the Sunday morning schedule?
We gather for worship in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. Our worship services typically last about one hour. Worship Care for preschoolers is available during the service.
Sunday morning Bible study groups for adults, youth, and children meet at 10:00 a.m. If you are interested in a specific group, please feel free to contact us—we’d be happy to help you connect. You can also explore our children, youth, and adult ministries to find more details about available classes.
What do I wear?
People who attend worship at First Baptist Church of Asheville wear a variety of attire, so you will be welcome here whatever you wear.
Parking and Accessibility
On Sunday mornings, guests and members may park in the Charlotte Street, One Oak, or Woodfin parking lots. Handicapped-accessible parking is available in the Charlotte Street and Woodfin lots.
Greeters will be waiting at the Atrium entrance, located near the playground in the Charlotte Street lot, and will gladly assist you in finding Bible study groups or the Sanctuary for worship.
