Cuba Mission Trip Donation Drive

March 20-23, 2026

For over 10 years, we have enjoyed a spiritually uplifting partnership with a local Baptist church in Las Tunas, Cuba. The church Iglesia Elohim is pastored by Mauricia Solo, who became pastor after her brother left the country, and has since completed seminary education in Cuba. Each year we send a small team to be with our Cuban sisters and brother. To date, almost 70 members from FBCA have been to Cuba from this partnership. Our next Cuba mission team will travel to Las Tunas from March 20-23. Be in prayer for this mission team, and especially for Pastor Maura and the faithful congregation in Las Tunas. Amidst their many daily hardships, they embody a genuine and deep faith in Christ and maintain an inspiring spirit of courage and grace.

As we get ready to serve, we are collecting items to support this important outreach effort.  The purpose of the trip is to encourage our partner church by taking supplies, money and fellowship. The team members are Cliff Christian, Martha & Jim Worley. 

An Amazon Wish List has been created for those who like to shop online. Or you can look at the list and pick up items locally.

In addition to the items on the wish list, Maura, the pastor, has also requested some cooking spices like turmeric, ginger, cumin, bay leaf, cloves, all-purpose seasonings.

The online purchases will be delivered to the Worleys, or you can drop items off in the box in the office.

All items must be received by March 15.
