Android Devices and “Church by MinistryOne” app users (white cross on purple background)
At the top-right of the screen, there are three icons. From left to right, they are check-in, messages, and your profile. The most important of these three is profile, which looks like the outline of a person’s head.
- Change details on your profile by tapping the “Edit Your Profile” button.
- To change your picture, click on the picture with a plus sign. Then select either “Choose from Library” (which will be from your pictures on your phone) or “Take Photo” (which will open up your camera to take a photo)
- You may also change any contact information here.
- Click the blue SAVE button at the bottom to save your changes, or tap cancel to return to the previous screen.
At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see five sections: discover, events, calendar, videos, and more.
- The Discover section will have the latest church video to watch, as well as some upcoming events.
- The Events section will show you important upcoming events.
- The Calendar section shows what’s happening in the church. It includes events for church members, like choir practice, alongside public events like pickup basketball, Zumba, literacy tutoring, and Al-Anon.
- The videos section shows you a list of recent church videos. Here you can watch worship recordings, Tad Talks, and Spark videos that you may have missed or want to rewatch.
- The more section has three sections: giving, contact, and groups.
-
- Giving will let you give to FBCA within the app and check your giving history.
- Contact sends an email to the pastoral staff. There is also an option to submit a prayer request here. These submissions also go to the pastoral staff.
- Groups will show you what church groups you are a part of. This includes your Bible study group and any council or team you’re a member of. These groups will list contact information for the other members of this group. If you don’t see your group listed, contact Casey Callahan at ccallahan@fbca.net.
