Visit Sister Church in Cuba

For over 10 years, we have enjoyed a spiritually uplifting partnership with a local Baptist church in Las Tunas, Cuba. The church Iglesia Elohim is pastored by Mauricia Solo, who became pastor after her brother left the country, and has since completed seminary education in Cuba. Each year we send a small team to be with our Cuban sisters and brother. To date, almost 70 members from FBCA have been to Cuba from this partnership. Our next Cuba mission team will travel to Las Tunas from March 20-24. Be in prayer for this mission team, and especially for Pastor Maura and the faithful congregation in Las Tunas. Amidst their many daily hardships, they embody a genuine and deep faith in Christ and maintain an inspiring spirit of courage and grace.
