First Kids Preschool

Please note: First Kids Preschool is a part-time program. If you are looking for full-time care, please visit the page for our full-time program, the Child Development Center at FBCA

• First Kids serves children ages 1-4. Children must turn one before August 31 to qualify.
• Hours: We operate Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Yearly Schedule: We loosely follow the local school schedule and run from September to May. Some years we also offer a June session.

Mission & Purpose

The First Baptist Church First Kids Preschool Program’s first goal is to help children trust that they are loved by Jesus Christ and his followers. It gives children opportunities to develop physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively, and spiritually to their greatest potential, and ministers, where appropriate, to the needs of children’s families.

Our program strives to always provide a warm, loving environment for children to learn age-appropriate skills while sharing basic Christian tenants, building self-confidence, addressing needs, ensuring safety and security, and providing families with assurance that their children are cared for and cherished.
